Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Conover is seeking experienced Specialized Care Assistants to provide hands-on personal care in clients' homes across Newton and surrounding areas. You should be dependable, compassionate and able to support clients with higher care needs.

This role involves ADLs, mobility support, dementia care, meal prep, light housekeeping and following each client’s Care Plan. Weekend and overnight shifts are available, with PRN options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Hands-on caregiving experience, especially with higher level of assistance.
• Preferred experience: dementia or Alzheimer's care, hospice or end-of-life support, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, cancer care.
• Comfortable working one-on-one in clients' homes and following established Care Plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with ADLs.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Mobility and walking assistance; transfer support within caregiver's scope.
• Dementia and memory-care support; monitor changes and report to office.
