Job summary

Owatonna Heating & Cooling is seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems. You will troubleshoot, communicate with customers, and expand your technical skills while taking on increasing responsibilities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of HVAC service experience.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including refrigerant, gas, and electric components.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

About the Role

As an Experienced HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems. This role emphasizes technical problem-solving, customer communication, and continuous skill development. You’ll also have opportunities to mentor less experienced technicians and contribute to maintaining high service standards across the team.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40+ hours per week
• Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
• Participation in a bi-monthly on-call rotation

What We’re Looking For
