Job summary

Opportunity Interactive is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Tri-Valley area team in California. This full-time role involves diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will service residential and light commercial systems, troubleshoot across electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration subsystems, and conduct routine maintenance to prevent future failures. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC field experience.
• Residential HVAC experience required; light commercial experience is a plus.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and identify developing equipment problems.
• Repair existing systems whenever practical and appropriate.
• Test electrical components using meters and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and related HVAC/R procedures.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Complete system start-ups, testing, and commissioning.
• Clearly explain system problems and repair recommendations to customers.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Maintain safe and professional work practices in the field.

Tri-Valley Area, CA Full-Time | $35.00-$45.00 per hour + Benefits

Are you an experienced HVAC technician looking for a company where you can focus on diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and taking care of customers?

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join an established residential and light commercial HVAC team serving the Tri-Valley area.

This is a hands-on service position for someone who is comfortable working independently in the field, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and determining the right repair rather than simply replacing equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of HVAC field experience
• Solid HVAC service, repair, and diagnostic abilities
• Residential HVAC experience required; light commercial experience is a plus
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC mechanical systems
• Ability to diagnose problems independently
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred
• Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Dependable and professional approach to field service
