Job summary

CastleWorks Water Heaters in Los Angeles is seeking an HVAC Service Technician with a commercial focus to service restaurants, offices, and retail sites. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair systems, and advise clients on the best fixes.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required; NATE certification strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid CA driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with attention to detail.

What You'll Do

You’ll Be The Expert Our Commercial Clients Trust To Keep Their Comfort Systems Running At Their Best. Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Fully inspecting systems and providing smart, honest recommendations
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC issues using your technical expertise — brazing, reading electrical schematics, static pressure testing, superheat & subcooling
• Identifying opportunities for new equipment and larger repairs, and guiding customers through the best solutions for their business
• Using AI-powered call review tools to sharpen your sales technique and grow your close rate — a resource designed to help you get better, faster
• Building genuine relationships with clients and educating them on how their systems work

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and mechanical skills
• EPA certification required; NATE certification strongly preferred
• Experience with Lennox and Carrier equipment a plus
• A self-starter who also takes direction well and communicates clearly
• Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
• Physical readiness for the job: comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all outdoor conditions
• A valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check
