Job summary

Precise Comfort & Climate Specialists is seeking an Experienced HVAC Installation Tech in New Orleans, LA. This full-time role offers 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours with occasional seasonal overtime and a strong benefits package.

You will install complete residential systems, perform replacements, handle refrigerant and drainage work, and ensure proper startup and code compliance. The company supports career growth and ongoing certifications in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification is required.
• EPA/Cust certs like NATE are preferred but not required.
• HVAC technical schooling is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install complete residential heating and cooling systems.
• Perform equipment replacements and system change-outs.
• Install air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers and related components.
• Complete refrigerant line, drainage, venting and equipment connections.
• Start up new systems and confirm proper operation.
• Follow codes, manufacturer requirements and company standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues.
• Keep job sites clean, organized and professional.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and collaborate with team members.
• Complete required job documentation accurately and efficiently.

Pay: $31-$41/hour, depending on experience

Location: New Orleans, LA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Occasional Seasonal Overtime

Key Responsibilities

• Completing required job documentation accurately and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Strong understanding of residential heating and cooling equipment
• EPA Refrigerant Certification required
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to produce clean, detailed, high-quality installation work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• HVAC Technical School education preferred
• NATE Certification preferred
