Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time cook to prepare high-quality meals for patients and the café, while collaborating with leadership on menus and production records. You will maintain HACCP standards and coordinate with the FANS Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires experience in hospital food service, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to read and follow instructions. Join a team focused on quality and patient care in Castle Rock, CO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of healthcare or hospital food service experience.
• Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients, café service, and catering events, following established recipes and production sheets.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and production records in collaboration with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas by following HACCP guidelines and recording temperatures accurately.
• Oversee food production activities, ensuring proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for both patient and retail services.
• Communicate effectively with the FANS Coordinator and team members to coordinate daily operations, resolve issues, and ensure service expectations are consistently met.
• Other duties as assigned.
