Job summary

Nesco Resource in Statesville, NC is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to work between two nearby warehouse locations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with need to use own car to travel between sites as required.

This is not entry-level; you must be confident, safe, and skilled operating a forklift in a busy warehouse. You will load/unload trucks, move pallets, check paperwork, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Recent forklift operating experience required.
• Must pass hands-on forklift evaluation.
• Comfortable loading/unloading in tight areas.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between two locations.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Move, stage, stack, and organize pallets and materials.
• Place products in the correct storage or shipping areas.
• Check products, quantities, and paperwork for accuracy.
• Inspect the forklift before use and report any problems.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company and warehouse safety rules.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
