Job summary

Vallen in Belmont, NC seeks a Forklift Operator to safely load and unload materials, move goods in a warehouse, and assist in inventory tasks. You will follow procedures, perform forklift inspections, and support timely deliveries while upholding safety policies.

The role requires a High school diploma and 3+ months of warehouse experience; certification to operate forklifts is preferred or can be obtained within a set period. This is a full-time on-site position with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ months warehouse experience or training.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within a defined period.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders and manuals.
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with MS Office and warehouse software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and properly operates warehouse equipment to complete tasks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Completes equipment logs and forklift inspections before/after each shift.
• Unloads and loads goods, verifies quantities, and assists inventory control.
