Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in High Point, NC. The role involves operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, locate, and relocate products, while supporting shipping and receiving with accuracy and safety. You will use RF scanners for inventory management and ensure efficient, organized operations.

Training on 1st shift for a couple weeks, then move to 2nd shift as your permanent schedule. Work hours are Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Experience using order pickers and RF scanners is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement of products.
• Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying orders and preparing items for dispatch.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
