Job summary

Parks Building Solutions in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move products in our fast-paced warehouse. You will operate forklifts and attachments, follow safety procedures, and assist with inventory control as directed by the Dispatcher and Operations Manager.

The role requires 2 years of forklift and pallet jack experience, good communication, problem solving, and the ability to read load diagrams and shipping documents.

Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift & pallet jack experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must read and write load diagrams, shipping orders, work instructions and various business communication documents
• Must be able to complete mathematical calculations associated with truck load weights and quantities
• High school diploma/GED Preferred

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives, pulls and loads deliveries of product and documents receipts.
• Places product securely in warehouse locations to prevent damage or misplacement.
• Retrieves and loads product per shipping documents and ensures proper item identification and rotation.
• Follow safety and warehouse practices; perform daily forklift maintenance checks.
• Operate forklifts with attachments in compliance with safety procedures.
• Assist in product counting, relocation and inventory processes.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Adhere to company policies to ensure efficient operations.
