Location: Doraville, Georgia / Field-based Type: Full-Time

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Senior Field Service Technician with 5+ years of hands‑on experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as the primary on-site technical expert for our clients—delivering high‑quality installation, diagnostic, and repair services for complex equipment across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Service: Oversee on‑site equipment setup, testing, commissioning, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and system faults using technical schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
• Emergency Repair: Respond promptly to client service calls to minimize downtime and resolve technical escalations effectively.
• Client Support: Educate customer operators on safe system operation, proper basic maintenance, and best practices.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate digital work orders, log service hours and parts used, and strictly follow OSHA/LOTO safety protocols.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience as a Field Service Technician or Industrial Maintenance Specialist.
• Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated skill reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems.
• Driving & Travel: Valid driver’s license with a clean record; willing to travel upwithin the assigned territory.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable working in varied industrial or commercial environments.
• Communication: Interpersonal skills to interface professionally with clients and internal engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Setting up new equipment, machinery, or systems at customer sites according to technical specifications and testing for proper functionality.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to isolate hardware, electrical, or software issues.
• Maintenance & Repair: Performing scheduled preventive maintenance routines to prevent downtime, as well as handling emergency repair calls.
• Documentation & Reporting: Filling out work orders, logging parts used, tracking labor hours, and generating service reports via Field Service Management (FSM) software.
• Client Education & Customer Service: Demonstrating how to operate installed systems safely, explaining necessary repairs clearly, and answering client questions.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhering to local, industry, and site-specific safety protocols (such as Lockout/Tagout and OSHA regulations).
• Inventory & Fleet Management: Keeping track of tool kits, spare parts inventory in service vehicles, and ensuring company vehicles are maintained.
