Job summary

Kokosing Construction in Northern VA/DC area is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to run Excavators, Dozers and Loaders on heavy highway, bridge and utility projects. Minimum five years related experience required; must pass safety test and be certified/approved by Safety Department or Competent Person.

Expect rigorous physical demands, daily equipment inspections, and adherence to safety protocols on busy construction sites. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related equipment operating experience.
• Experience with heavy highway, bridge, and utility projects preferred.
• Ability to read and follow grade stakes and hand signals.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, dozers, and loaders safely on site.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspect equipment daily.
• Assist crews as needed and follow supervisor instructions.
