Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking skilled operators to join our Arizona Division in the Phoenix area. You will operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and scrapers, perform grade work, inspect machinery, and read blueprints on active construction sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years preferred. Occasional overtime and on-site teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience operating dozer, loader, backhoe, gannon, scraper, or compactor.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand wheels, levers, and pedals to drive machines and control attachments for grading and earthworks.
• Grade and redistribute earth or materials for construction of structures.
• Inspect equipment and report deficiencies; read blueprints, survey markers, and stakes.
• Read gauges and ensure machines operate within safe parameters; follow hand signals and directions on site.
