Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter is hiring a Direct Support Professional for a full-time day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) in Barnegat Township, NJ. Starting pay is $20.70 per hour, with earning potential up to $24.70 per hour through shift differentials and overtime.

You’ll work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting daily living and independence in residential settings. Qualifications include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, and DSP experience;

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of DSP experience preferred.
• Medical case management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support in group homes, supervised apartments, and supported living programs.
• Assist with daily living activities: meals, medication support, household tasks, personal care, transportation.
• Reinforce routines, skills, responsibility, and independence for residents.
• Support individuals in meeting goals outlined in individualized service plans.
