Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking an Equipment Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume fab producing advanced semiconductor devices. You will work with technicians and engineers on the cleanroom floor, following SOPs and OCAPs to keep safety and efficiency at the center of every task.

The role requires a high school diploma; technical degree is a plus. The shift is Sunday through Tuesday 6:45am–7:15pm with alternating Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Position Summary

• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.

• Affectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates.
• Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock.

Work hours: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

The current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.

Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Total Rewards At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
