Job summary

Neibauer Dental Care- Harrison Crossing in Fredericksburg, VA seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll support dentists with four-handed dentistry, operate iTero 3D scanner, and maintain patient comfort from the first visit.

You will manage scheduling with Dentrix, uphold safety and HIPAA standards, and help with inventory, ordering supplies, and workflow improvements while providing excellent patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• VA x-ray certification.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from their first visit and maintain patient comfort.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
