Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking an experienced production operator to work in our California facility. The role involves operating concrete handling equipment, inspecting product quality, and assisting with production flow under supervision of the Plant Manager.

Candidates should have 3+ years of equipment experience, be able to read safety and maintenance documents, and be able to lift up to 75 lbs while wearing PPE. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating similar equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Able to read documents and follow operating instructions.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect product quality and adjust settings as necessary.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reporting.
• Record moisture, density, height, and material consumption; update boards.
