Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment.

The role includes managing inventories and coordinating with supervisors, with local travel within a 2.5 hour radius of residence. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable working with MS Office and hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability and desire to cross-train on additional equipment for year round work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Ability to provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electronic and electrical components of HVACR units.
• Repair and preventive maintenance for commercial HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Locate problems by observing equipment and listening for issues.
• Provide daily reports and communicate with supervisors and administrators.
• Remove defective parts using hand and power tools and inspect parts.
