We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Job Overview:

As an Experienced Commercial Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates for commercial construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project scopes are well-defined, and all costs are considered. Your expertise in construction processes, materials, and estimating software will play a crucial role in securing projects and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to accurately assess project scope.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure cost-effective solutions are in place throughout the project lifecycle.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, and analyze proposals for value and feasibility.
• Evaluate risks and propose risk mitigation strategies in cost estimation.
• Maintain and build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to enhance estimating accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience in healthcare construction estimating is preferred
• Project management experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in estimating software
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
