Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist for a 1st shift, full‑time role in Massachusetts. The position requires setting up and operating Star Swiss lathes, reading blueprints, and performing in‑process inspections.

G‑code editing and precise measurement with gauges are part of daily duties. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of CNC Swiss lathe experience, at least 2 years in setup, and preferably aerospace background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC Swiss lathe machining experience
• 2 years setup experience on Swiss lathes
• Aerospace experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and customer specs to setup, operate, and adjust CNC Star Swiss Lathes
• Performs first piece and in-process inspections of self-machined parts
• Inspects produced parts using gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Changes offsets and tools, performs G-code edits, and conducts preventative maintenance of machines
• Sets up machines to achieve full capabilities
