Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC Swiss lathe experience, aerospace experience preferred.
• Reads blueprints and customer specifications to set up and operate CNC Star Swiss lathes.
• G-code editing experience is a plus.
• Setup and operation of CNC Star Swiss lathes.

Responsibilities

• Reads and studies blueprints and customer specifications to setup, operate and adjust CNC Star Swiss lathes.
• Performs inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
• Inspects produced parts using Gauges, Calipers and Micrometers.
• Responsible for changing offsets and tools, performing G-Code edits and preventative maintenance.
• Sets up machines to achieve full capabilities.
