Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist in Springfield, MA for the 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM). This full-time, direct-placement role focuses on setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC lathes (3-, 4-, and 5-axis) to produce high-quality parts per blueprints.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of CNC lathe experience, a high school diploma or GED, and prefer aerospace backgrounds. Pay ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, with duties including tooling selection, feeds/speeds,

Qualifications

8–10 years CNC lathe experience in 3- and 4-axis setup and operation.
Aerospace background is preferred.
HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-axis) according to blueprint specifications.
Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
Select appropriate tools and set feeds and speeds to meet production requirements.
Perform inspections of machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality standards.
Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
Lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery.
Monitor inventory and reorder tools as necessary.
