Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Swiss setup technician to own complete Swiss machine setups (Citizen, Star, Tsugami or equivalent) and deliver tight tolerances for aerospace components.

You will load programs, set offsets, verify setup integrity, and conduct in-process and final inspection using GD&T. Strong blueprint reading and Fanuc control experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years on CNC Swiss equipment (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar).
• Blueprint reading mastery and GD&T understanding.
• Fanuc or equivalent CNC control experience; aerospace familiarity preferred.
• Knowledge of bar-fed machining and guide bushing setups; aerospace materials knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own complete Swiss setups on sliding headstock machines; select guide bushings and load toolings.
• Load programs, establish offsets, verify setup integrity, and validate with FAI.
• Read complex blueprints and processing docs; apply GD&T to meet form, fit, function.
• Run in-process and final inspections with precision measuring tools.
• Fine-tune offsets, tooling, and parameters to minimize dimensional variation and surface finish.
• Troubleshoot tool wear and chatter; implement corrective actions; maintain 5S and safety standards.
