Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Wilmington, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role requires setups and operation of vertical and horizontal machining centers, reading drawings, and producing quality parts.

You will inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges, maintain records for production planning, and work from blueprints. A high school diploma and at least three years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent; technical/vocational school diploma highly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers
• Manual machining experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform setups and specify tooling for vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Work solely from drawings/blueprints to produce quality parts.
• Inspect machined parts using various types of mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, pin gages, thread gages, and optical comparator.
• Responsible for accurate record keeping and timely submission of work documents to production planning.
