Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated’s Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Wilmington, MA is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support CNC machining operations and a range of shop activities. • 1-5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Skilled in using inspection tools and measurement equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Safe operation of shop equipment, hand tools, and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC 3-Axis VMC to produce prototype and production parts.
• Load programs, prepare and load tooling, and adjust offsets as needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts using engineering drawings and metrology equipment.
• Identify and report quality, equipment, and process issues.
• Support engineering with process development and continuous improvement.
