Job summary

Scully is seeking a seasoned CNC Machine Operator in Wilmington, MA to run vertical and horizontal milling centers. You will set up tooling, read drawings, and produce precision parts according to blueprints.

This full-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, ability to inspect parts with standard inspection tools, and the discipline to maintain accurate production records and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

ExperiencedCNC Machinist.(CNC Vertical/Horizontal Mill Machinist)

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform setups and specify tooling for vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Work solely from drawings/blueprints to produce quality parts.
• Inspect machined parts using various types of mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, pin gages, thread gages, Tessa height, and optical comparator.
• Responsible for accurate record keeping and timely submission of work documents to production planning.

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent; technical/vocational school diploma highly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers
• Manual machining experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• This position is active and requires standing, walking , bending, stooping all day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
