AIR Control Concepts seeks a Certified Payroll Specialist to manage certified payrolls and standard payrolls across multiple projects. The role requires deep knowledge of prevailing wage regulations, contract wage determinations, and government reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of certified payroll experience, CPP certification, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Excel. Hybrid or remote work options are available, with payroll duties across several states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of certified payroll experience.
• Experience with certified payroll reporting and multi-state payrolls.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Experience in construction/public works or government contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly certified payrolls for prevailing wage and government projects.
• Ensure payrolls meet contract wage determinations and fringe requirements.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and compliance forms.
• Maintain payroll records and support audits and investigations.
• Collaborate with HR, accounting and project teams on payroll compliance.
