Job summary

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care. We are seeking an Experienced Caregiver with weekday and weekend availability to build a schedule that meets client needs and a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Must have over 1 year of caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel between clients in Waco and surrounding areas. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• Willingness to work both weekdays and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to travel between clients.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.).
• Medication reminders.
• Monitoring/safety supervision.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Laundry, errands and shopping.
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above.
• Supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency.
• Transportation to and from appointments.

Experienced Caregiver

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for an Experienced Caregiver who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Experienced Caregiver shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, an Experienced Caregiver MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
