Job summary

Visiting Angels Temple is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist elderly clients in Temple and surrounding areas. You will help with hygiene, meal prep, mobility, medication reminders and companionship, while maintaining safety and dignity at home.

We offer flexible schedules (20+ hours/week min), weekly pay with direct deposit, and benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, and 24-hour office support. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check.
• Professional references available.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care).
• Medication reminders and monitoring.
• Monitoring and safety supervision in the home.
• Meal preparation and dietary accommodations.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Errands and shopping for client needs.
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including transfers.
• Supportive companionship to reduce isolation.
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency.
• Transport to and from appointments.

Visiting Angels Temple is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Caregiver who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Caregiver shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Temple and surrounding areas (Copperas Cove, Killeen, Lampasas, Belton, Cameron, Rockdale, and MORE) therefore, a Caregiver MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Temple. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

Caregiver job duties include but are not limited to:
