Responsibilities include greeting customers, obtaining data, writing repair orders, providing labor/parts estimates, communicating with dispatch, and ensuring quality service. Minimum 3-5 years dealership experience; high school diploma required; benefits include 401(k), health and more.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of dealership Service Advisor experience.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Pass background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect customer and vehicle data.
• Determine service needs and promote labor, parts, and accessories without losing sight of your advisory role.
• Write or type clear and precise repair instructions on the repair order for the technician.
• Provide estimate for labor and parts.
• Communicate with dispatch to determine status of jobs throughout the day.
• Telephone or text customer when job is finished and discuss what was done.
• Cooperate with all dealership personnel to guarantee quality service.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and warranty companies for approvals and payment protection.
• Be knowledgeable about products and warranties, and satisfy customers’ immediate service needs.
