Job summary

Diehl Collision of Bellevue in Bellevue, PA is hiring an experienced Automotive Collision Technician / Auto Body Technician to repair damaged vehicles to factory specs. You will perform collision, frame, and cosmetic repairs, weld and replace panels, and work from estimates with a focus on safety and quality.

Applicants should have proven experience in body repair, disassembly/reassembly, and the ability to read repair procedures; ASE/I-CAR certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Auto Body Technician, Collision Technician, Body Shop Technician, Automotive Body Technician, or Collision Repair Technician.
• Experience with collision repair and vehicle disassembly/reassembly.
• Knowledge of structural and cosmetic automotive repairs.
• Welding and metal repair experience.
• Ability to read and follow repair estimates and repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy shop.
• Valid driver's license.
• I-CAR, ASE, or other certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive collision and body repairs according to repair procedures.
• Repair vehicles involved in minor and major collisions.
• Remove and replace damaged body panels and components.
• Perform dent repair and metal straightening.
• Complete structural and frame repairs as required.
• Perform welding and related metal repair procedures.
• Repair or replace bumpers, fenders, doors, quarter panels, hoods, and other components.
• Disassemble vehicles and identify additional or hidden collision damage.
• Work from repair estimates and approved repair plans.
• Verify proper fit, alignment, and operation of repaired components.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate with estimators, parts personnel, painters, and management throughout the repair process.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
