Job summary

Diehl Collision of Ford City is seeking an experienced Automotive Collision Technician / Auto Body Technician to join our Ford City, Pennsylvania team. You will restore damaged vehicles to high quality standards and work with a skilled crew, following OEM procedures and communicating repair needs to estimators and management.

Qualifications

This role requires prior professional auto body or collision repair experience.
Experience with structural and cosmetic repairs is preferred.
Certification like I-CAR, ASE, OEM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform minor and major automotive collision repairs.
Repair and replace damaged body panels and components.
Perform frame and structural repairs as required.
Complete dent repair and metal straightening.
Remove and replace doors, fenders, quarter panels, hoods, bumpers, and related components.
Perform welding and metal repair procedures.
Disassemble vehicles and identify additional or hidden collision damage.
Reassemble vehicles following completed repairs and repair plans.
Follow OEM and manufacturer repair procedures.
Verify panel fit, alignment, and operation.
Communicate additional repair needs to estimators and management.
Work closely with painters, estimators, and parts personnel.
