Qualifications

• Experience in auto body repair, collision repair, frame repair, structural repair, dent repair, panel replacement, welding, and vehicle restoration.
• Experience with collision repair and vehicle disassembly/reassembly.
• Ability to read and follow repair estimates and repair procedures.
• Knowledge of welding and metal repair.
• Valid driver's license and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive collision and body repairs according to repair procedures.
• Repair vehicles involved in minor and major collisions.
• Remove and replace damaged body panels and components.
• Perform dent repair and metal straightening.
• Complete structural and frame repairs as required.
• Perform welding and related metal repair procedures.
• Repair or replace bumpers, fenders, doors, quarter panels, hoods, and other components.
• Disassemble vehicles and identify additional or hidden collision damage.
• Work from repair estimates and approved repair plans.
• Verify proper fit, alignment, and operation of repaired components.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate with estimators, parts personnel, painters, and management throughout the repair process.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Diehl Collision of Bellevue is hiring an experienced Automotive Collision Technician / Auto Body Technician to join our professional collision repair team in Bellevue, Pennsylvania.

If you have experience in auto body repair, collision repair, frame repair, structural repair, dent repair, panel replacement, welding, and vehicle restoration, we want to hear from you.

Our Bellevue collision center serves customers throughout Bellevue, Avalon, Ben Avon, Emsworth, West View, Ross Township, McKees Rocks, Pittsburgh, the North Hills, and surrounding Allegheny County communities.

Collision Technician Responsibilities

As an Automotive Collision Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and helping restore damaged vehicles to proper condition.

Responsibilities may include:

• Perform automotive collision and body repairs according to repair procedures
• Repair vehicles involved in minor and major collisions
• Remove and replace damaged body panels and components
• Perform dent repair and metal straightening

Qualifications

We are looking for experienced automotive professionals who take pride in their workmanship.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician, Collision Technician, Body Shop Technician, Automotive Body Technician, or Collision Repair Technician
• Experience with collision repair and vehicle disassembly/reassembly
• Knowledge of structural and cosmetic automotive repairs
• Welding and metal repair experience
• Ability to properly use collision repair tools and equipment
• Ability to read and follow repair estimates and repair procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy collision repair environment
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable attendance and a professional attitude

I-CAR, ASE, manufacturer, or other collision repair certifications are a plus.
