Job summary

Pasadena Villa Outpatient in Lansing, MI, is seeking an Associate Therapist to provide individual, family and group therapy within an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization program under supervision of licensed clinicians. You will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with clients, families and team members.

Position requires a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology, plus a provisional clinical license in

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Provisional clinical license in Michigan (or fully licensed accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, group and family therapy sessions.
• Completes session notes, discharge plans, and reports per guidelines.
• Documents assessments of client presentation and progress.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care from admission to discharge.
• Maintains professional relationships with clients, families, and referral sources.
• Attends meetings and participates as a clinical advocate for assigned cases.
