Monarch Investment and Management Group in Sioux City, IA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for Indian Hills Apartments, a 120-unit community located on Winona Way on Sioux City’s North Side of town. You will handle resident service requests, site upkeep, and routine turns, with opportunities for professional growth in a company that promotes from within.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in residential maintenance and proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of apartment/residential maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting and carpentry.
• EPA & HVAC certifications are a plus but not required.
• CPO certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; on-call rotation about once every three weeks.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
• Repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Indian Hills Apartments , a well-maintained 120 - unit community located on Winona Way on Sioux City’s North Side of town .

If you have apartment maintenance or residential maintenance experience and enjoy troubleshooting, unit turns, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, we'd like to meet you. • $2 0 .00–$2 5 .00 per hour DOE
• Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
• On-call bonus structure up to $100/week

What You'll Do:

• Complete resident service requests and work orders.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
• Repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 1 year of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• EPA & HVAC certifications are a plus but not required.
• CPO certification required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM– 5:00 PM
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation approximately one week every three weeks.
