Jobot in Bedford, TX is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, A/P and A/R, prepare reports, and ensure accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting, 5+ years of experience, and strong Excel skills. CPA progress is a plus, and the role offers an onsite, permanent position with a great benefits package and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting software.
• Experience with 3-way match, reconciliations, accruals, invoicing, and journal entries.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes (A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, bank reconciliation).
• Conduct 3-way match to ensure invoice accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile discrepancies by analyzing account information.
• Manage accruals and prepayments for accurate financial statements.
• Handle invoicing and posting journal entries.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with finance to improve processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings and government reporting.
