Job summary

Amazon seeks a Research Strategist to drive research strategy and deliver actionable insights for improving experiences for Amazon employees. You will lead studies, design experiments, and partner with cross-functional teams including design, product management, economists, and scientists.

The Central Science Team uses economics, statistics, and machine learning to inform decisions and improve well-being and work value across Amazonians.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
• Portfolio showcasing study plans, reports, personas
• Experience end-to-end with study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting
• Lab-based and remote testing, iterative prototype testing, survey design

Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives aligned with business strategy using behavioral science methods
• Design and execute studies with quantitative and qualitative approaches
• Manage full research lifecycle from proposals to insight delivery
• Communicate complex findings clearly to diverse audiences
• Help partner teams identify relevant research questions
• Deliver actionable insights to support executive decision making
• Collaborate with design, product management, economists, and engineers to build end-to-end solutions
