Job summary

LatchBio seeks an exceptionally resourceful Workplace, Community & Events Lead to craft memorable experiences in the SF office and beyond. You will own the physical and virtual workplace, culture, community experiences, and events that unite our team and ecosystem.

You’ll be an operator, producer, host, and creative director, turning vague ideas into extraordinary experiences with extraordinary attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace operations, events, hospitality or high-touch roles.
• Ability to create memorable experiences with strong aesthetic sense.
• Proven project management, vendor negotiation and budget ownership.
• Comfort handling unglamorous details to make ideas real.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day experience of the SF office including facilities, supplies, F&B, vendors and space planning.
• Produce team dinners, offsites, onboarding experiences, and company-wide gatherings.
• Plan industry dinners, conferences, and community experiences to strengthen relationships.
• Own Gather instance and design spaces for distributed teams.
• Develop thoughtful ways for employees to connect across functions and locations.
• Translate ideas into cohesive experiences from venue to branding and catering.
• Source and manage vendors, negotiate contracts, track spend.
• Build repeatable workplace and event processes as the company grows.
• Care for the office dog Nix.
