Job summary

Knight Enterprises Management, LLC. is seeking an Expeditor to manage the receipt, issuance, and tracking of incoming raw materials within Production Control. The role supports production schedules, expedites flow, and maintains essential documentation to ensure materials meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in manufacturing, knowledge of document control, and familiarity with inventory processes. Loading/unloading tasks and related clerical duties may be required on occasion.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Document Control is critical.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with clerical procedures and MAS 500 ERP systems preferred.
• Fork lift certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure receipt, issuance and tracking of incoming raw materials.
• Assist with Production Control functions as needed.
• Review production schedules and specifications for materials and priorities.
• Compile schedules, orders and personnel requirements.
• Monitor progress and provide work orders to expedite flow.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for production demands.
• Calculate labor and material costs using pricing schedules.
• Maintain document control and filing systems.
• Coordinate delivery and distribution to meet schedules.
• Prepare status reports on production progress and materials inventory.
