Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a reliable Expeditor to ensure timely availability and movement of materials throughout the manufacturing process. You will work with Production, Purchasing, Materials, Warehouse, and other departments to identify shortages and prevent delays.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve material-related issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and changing production needs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or production management systems.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, part numbers, and basic production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production requirements and identify parts, materials, and components needed to keep jobs moving.
• Track material shortages and communicate potential production delays to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Materials teams to obtain outstanding parts and materials.
• Follow up on purchase orders, backorders, and delayed materials.
• Expedite the delivery of critical parts and materials when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of material shortages, expected delivery dates, and outstanding items.
