Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum one year in manufacturing environment and some knowledge of inventory processes helpful.
• Experience and understanding of Document Control is critical.
• Knowledge of inspection tools such as Calipers and Micrometers is necessary.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems utilizing computer. MAS 500 ERP systems preferred.
• Fork Lift Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents such as production schedules and specifications to obtain information, such as materials, priorities, and personnel requirements.
• Compiles schedules and orders, such as personnel assignments, production, work flow, transportation, and maintenance and repair.
• Monitors work progress, provides services, such as furnishing work orders and directs workers to expedite work flow.
• Requisitions and maintains inventory of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
• Calculates figures, such as labor and materials amounts, manufacturing costs, using pricing schedules/calculator.
• Maintains document control.
• Maintains files, such as maintenance records, bills of lading, and cost reports.
• Arranges for delivery and distributes supplies and parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Examines documents, materials, and products, and monitors work processes for completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Completes status reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventory.
• Confers with company personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate processing and shipping to resolve complaints.
• Performs additional tasks as required by management.
