Job summary

ESPO Corporation is seeking an Expeditor II based in San Antonio, TX or Houston, TX for a 6 month contract to hire. The role focuses on driving and tracking pre-delivery document submittals, expediting supplier documents, and reporting status to stakeholders.

You will lead weekly calls, support project expediting, travel up to 25%, and work across engineering and construction teams. Requires strong communication, problem solving, and initiative to resolve delinquencies and ensure on-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience in expediting, document control, or project coordination, with the ability to follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Experience supporting project deliverables tied to schedules within a project-based environment (engineering, construction, manufacturing, or similar).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to plan and perform work where only general policies or procedures are available.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for relationship building.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to recognize timelines and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Perform Expeditor duties per the project SOP with focus on documents.
• Run expediting calls with suppliers and project team to support packages and document status.
• Provide updates to the project team on deliverables to support Advanced Work Packaging.
• Attend weekly project meetings.
• Expediting activities to ensure on-time delivery of equipment/material and documentation.
• Travel up to 25% of time; may embed in fabrication facility or jobsite as required.
