Job summary

STSI is seeking an Expeditor II in Omaha, NE to drive and track pre-delivery document submittals in accordance with contract and project schedule. This on-site role requires close coordination with suppliers and project teams to support timely expediting of documents and materials.

The position involves attending weekly project meetings, expediting activities, and may require embedding in fabrication facilities or job sites as needed. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word).

Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.00

Summary: The Expeditor II is responsible for driving and tracking all pre-delivery document submittals in accordance with the contract and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Expeditor duties in accordance with the Project Expediting Standard Operating Procedure for the project in which assigned with focus on Documents as defined above.
• Run Expediting calls with suppliers and project team to support assigned packages and Document status.
• Provides updates to the project team on deliverables according to the contract to support Advanced Work Packaging.
• Attends weekly project meetings.
• Performs expediting activities associated with ensuring on-time delivery of equipment/material and documentation.
• Could be required to embed in fabrication facility or jobsite as required.
• Travel required up to 25% of time for home office positions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc).
• Critical thinking skills/problem solving skills to Plan and perform work where only general policies or procedures are available.
• Experienced communicator with effective verbal and written communication that allows for relationship and rapport building.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to recognize timelines and deadlines to prioritize work accordingly.
