Matrix Project Services is seeking an Expeditor to accelerate supplier progress and ensure on-time delivery of major equipment and materials for EPC projects in the Pittsburgh area. The role reports to Supply Chain Manager EPC and requires close coordination with project teams, procurement, and logistics.

The candidate will maintain delivery logs, generate expediting reports, and participate in supplier performance evaluations while leveraging ERP systems such as Penta, Dynamics, SAP, and SQL

• BS in Business, Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and expediting experience required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in procurement administration, expediting, scheduling and accounting, with extensive knowledge in a manufacturing and production environment for an EPC company is required.
• Procurement or Supply Chain environment with an energy related sector background is desired.
• Experience with ERP business system preferred.
• Computer skills include an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as exposure to Penta, Dynamics, SAP and Sequel Server.
• Strong internal and external communication and negotiation skills are necessary, as well as superior attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Occasional overtime and willingness to travel 10% - 20% of the time as needed/required.

Responsabilidades

• Expedite and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery for major equipment and critical path items.
• Receive items in company system and certify supplier progress for payments.
• Prepare expediting and progress reports; maintain logs of schedules and shipping status.
• Coordinate with project management, planning, scheduling to support construction needs by dates.
• Coordinate QA inspections, ITPs, shipping, and issues of non-conformance.
• Support supplier performance evaluation with SQL Server reports.
• Attend project meetings representing procurement.

Job Summary The Expeditor will expedite and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of major equipment, critical path items and all other materials consistent with project schedules, participate in performance evaluation process of suppliers, receive items in company business system and certify supplier progress of work for payment purposes as required. This position report to Supply Chain Manager EPC.

Essential Functions

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
• Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
• Uses Penta, OnBase, Share Point, Sequel Server or other company business system and other available reports to expedite suppliers for on-time deliveries for assigned projects.
• Contacts suppliers and updates progress / expediting reports on daily basis.
• Maintains logs with schedules, progress, and shipping status of materials and equipment and reviews results with Procurement Manager and Project Management.
• Issues regular expediting status reports as required.
• Coordinates with Project management, Construction, Planning, Scheduling to ensure material deliveries support construction need by dates.
• Visits suppliers and fabricators from time to time to verify status of progress or review corrective actions.
• Coordinates QA inspections and releases of major equipment.
• Coordinates ITP (inspection and test plans) with project management and supplier / fabricator.
• Coordinates shipping with procurement and logistics.
• Takes positive steps in consultation with Project Management when possible to improve vendor performance as demanded by schedule.
• Coordinates issue of Non-Conformance Reports on unsatisfactory performance of suppliers warranting corrective measures.
• Executes receiving transactions in Penta or other company business systems.
• Supports supplier performance evaluation process with SQL Server reports.
• Represents procurement in the project meeting as required.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications
