Job summary

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a Reservations Manager to lead our Expedition Specialists and drive excellent guest experiences.

This role focuses on coaching, performance management, and collaborating with Revenue, Inventory, Operations, and Sales & Marketing to fulfill our brand promise of “Whatever It Takes.” The manager will guide daily operations, optimize workflows, and support strategic initiatives while maintaining a self-motivated, highly organized approach.

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
  • Salesforce and Seaware experience required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in sales or call center environment preferable.
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of the normal business hours as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the reservations team, including administering production-based bonus program.
  • Lead one-to-one coaching with Expedition Specialists to improve skills.
  • Review reservations for quality assurance and accuracy.
  • Serve as first point of escalation for reservations issues.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new hires.
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners to support processes.
  • Prioritize team and individual goals to meet business objectives.
  • Manage daily operations and workforce planning.
  • Handle time and attendance, payroll approvals, and time-off requests.
  • Support special projects within Reservations team.
