Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami is seeking a Lead, Expedition Learning & Development to plan, govern, and deliver training, gear, and field operations programs across the expedition fleet. You will build dashboards, manage budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and develop scalable field-readiness training for remote environments.

Travel about 15% and partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Shipboard teams to ensure readiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Training, Organizational Development, Project Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in learning and development, expedition operations, project management, logistics, procurement, program management, or related operational field.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Experience building dashboards, tracking tools, reporting routines, and executive-level updates using Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage program calendars, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery and accountability.
• Develop training strategies, field-readiness programs, gear standards, and operational-support processes.
• Build dashboards and reporting for senior and executive leadership.
• Coordinate training events, webinars, and onsite training with shipboard teams.
• Track attendance, completion, and readiness; translate data trends into recommendations.
• Manage budgets for training programs, expedition gear, and related field-support needs.
