Job summary

Zelh is seeking an Afterhours Account Executive in the United States to manage expedited freight, focusing on smaller equipment like cargo vans, Sprinter vans, and box trucks. You will track shipments, source carriers, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and resolve after-hours issues while communicating with customers and carriers.

Ideal candidates will have experience in US logistics or freight brokerage, with strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in US logistics or freight brokerage.
• Familiarity with expedited transportation and customer coordination.

Responsibilities

• Source carriers and secure capacity for expedited shipments (cargo vans, Sprinter vans, box trucks).
• Dispatch small equipment and Truckload shipments for specific customers.
• Track active expedited shipments and monitor status from pickup to delivery.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates.
• Handle after-hours issues, delays, missed appointments, and other shipment problems.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries and ensure shipments stay on schedule.
• Enter loads and update shipment information in the TMS as needed.
• Maintain regular customer communication and respond to shipment-related questions.
• Support Truckload operations as needed.
