Job summary

The Operational Account Manager, Air Expedite is an integral part of the Road US team's freight brokerage operations and assist with the establishment and development of relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service.

They are responsible for developing the branch's house accounts, while continuously seeking out new growth opportunities with current and new clients and oversee the flow of communication with clients regarding all aspects of the account.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in logistics, transportation brokerage, or related field.
• 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems.
• 2 years' experience managing Air Freight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops the overall customer relationship via all methods of communication, phone, email, and in person.
• Negotiates with transportation carriers and providers to obtain, set rates and determine services available.
• Researches and determines growth opportunities within the branch's house accounts.
• Investigates, actions and establishes new customer leads and opportunities.
• Examines customer requests to provide best service options and pricing available.
