Job summary

ProTrans is seeking an experienced Expedite Specialist to coordinate and execute expedited transportation services. You will manage shipments end-to-end, ensure timely delivery, and deliver exceptional customer service as a key liaison among customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvements and professional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Knowledge of expedited transportation including charter, hand-carry, and ground expedite operations.
• Familiarity with brokerage and customs-related services.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and transportation software.

Responsibilities

• Track, monitor, and manage expedited shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Proactively communicate shipment updates and status to customers.
• Resolve shipment issues and service concerns with effective problem solving and customer service.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in the TMS.
• Support charter, hand-carry, and ground expedite operations.
• Bid, schedule, and dispatch shipments in compliance with procedures.
• Assist with bookings, documentation, tracing, and delivery coordination.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics as assigned.
• Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
