Job summary

High Tech High invites applications for an Assistant Coordinator, Expanded Learning. This part-time, hourly role supports the Aftercare Coordinator/Director, mentors and leads activities, and coordinates curriculum.

On-campus position focused on ensuring a safe, engaging environment for students. The ideal candidate will work well with school-aged students, communicate effectively with families, and manage outreach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to mentor, tutor, and lead activities.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and communication to families.
• Serve as direct administrative support to the Aftercare Coordinator/Director.
• May serve as second in charge in the absence of the Aftercare Coordinator/Director.
• Supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and organized environment for students.
• Take attendance and ensure students are accounted for.
• Plan, develop, and facilitate engaging student activities.
• Assist students with learning activities and homework.
• Understand and implement emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
